Premier Youthworks provides Therapeutic Residential Care and support services for children and young people with complex needs arising from a history of childhood abuse and neglect. As a residential case manager, you will lead and manage team leaders and care workers who work directly with the children and young people in a residential setting. You will initiate quality training and development programs for your team thus ensuring they deliver the best care possible. Working with key stakeholders and agencies, you will collaboratively achieve the best outcome for our children and young people. The development, management and review of case plans and behaviour support plans is a core responsibility. Experience with legislative compliance, reporting and documentation is vital.
To be successful, you must have experience in a similar environment and in case work. Tertiary qualifications in youth work/community services or a related discipline is essential. High level communications skills - verbal and written are needed as are advanced people management and development skills. You will receive a salary package consisting of a base salary ($80 855), superannuation (9.5%), laptop and a mobile phone. You will have the use of a company vehicle during work hours and be based in our office at Bruce.
Legislatively in the ACT, you are required to obtain and maintain a:
- national police check (Australian Federal Police)
- working with vulnerable persons card
- drivers license and driving history
- first aid certificate
- clearance from the Office of Children, Young People and Family Services.
